I like to refer to myself as a photo-graphic artist, as in all my creative undertakings I combine visual thinking with thinking on the level of a single frame. It influences both my photography and my designs.

My identity has been strongly marked by Kraków, the city where I have lived all my life. I was born here, I studied here (graphic arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków), and now I live and work here. On a day-to-day basis, I share my photographic, graphic and digital experiences with students of graphic arts and digital design at the Faculty of Art of the Pedagogical University.

I feel much closer to the mountains than to the sea – and not only in geographic alterms. For me, this is the natural direction, this is where I escape from everyday routine and give in to my love for skiing and cycling. Working for several years as an instructor of the Polish Ski Federation helped me in those escapes rather efficiently.

Chętnie mówię o sobie foto-grafik, ponieważ w każdym twórczym działaniu myślenie kadrem fotograficznym miesza się u mnie z myśleniem graficznym. To wpływa zarówno na moje zdjęcia, jak i prace projektowe.

Od zawsze jestem związany z Krakowem i czuję się krakusem. Tu się urodziłem, tu studiowałem (na Wydziale Grafiki ASP w Krakowie), tu żyję i pracuję. Na co dzień na Wydziale Sztuki Uniwersytetu Pedagogicznego w Krakowie, gdzie swoimi foto-graficzno-cyfrowymi doświadczeniami dzielę się ze studentami kierunku Grafika i Digital Design.

Nie tylko geograficznie jest mi bliżej do gór niż do morza – to dla mnie naturalny kierunek ucieczki od codziennej rutyny w narciarsko-rowerowe pasje. Praca na stoku jako instruktor SITN PZN przez kilka lat skutecznie w tych ucieczkach pomagała.
